02The website itself

freaxment.com is a static website. It uses no advertising, no tracking pixels and no cookies of its own. Fonts, images and audio previews are served from the site itself, so opening a page does not contact Google Fonts, social networks or similar services.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. Like any web server, it processes technical data when you load a page (IP address, browser type, requested page, time) to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use this data to identify you.

Visitor statistics. To see how many people visit the site and which pages they read, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It works without cookies, local storage or fingerprinting and does not follow you across websites; we only see aggregated numbers such as page views, referring websites, countries and device types. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Links to SoundCloud, Spotify, Instagram, WhatsApp and other platforms open those services in a new tab; from that point their own privacy policies apply.

03Purchases and free downloads

Digital products — paid and free — are sold and delivered through Payhip (Payhip Limited, England and Wales, company no. 08386910), which resells them under its own End User Licence. When you click a buy or download button on freaxment.com, you are taken to the checkout of the Freaxment store on store.freaxment.com. That store runs on Payhip’s platform and is operated by Payhip. At checkout Payhip collects your email address, name, country, order details and technical data such as your IP address. Payhip acts as an independent controller for the checkout; its Privacy & Cookies Policy applies there.

We receive from Payhip the details needed to support your order, handle refunds and keep accounting records: your name, email address, country, the product, price and date, your answers to checkout questions (such as your agreement to our Terms) and whether you ticked the optional newsletter box. Legal bases: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legal obligations under Czech tax and accounting law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

04Payments

Card payments in the Store are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland) through Freaxment’s own Stripe account connected to Payhip. Your card details go directly to Stripe — they never pass through freaxment.com and we never see your full card number. Stripe acts as an independent controller for payment data and may use automated fraud screening; see Stripe’s privacy policy.

Payouts and mentorship bank transfers are received on a Wise business account (Wise Europe SA, Belgium) or a Czech bank account. For a bank transfer we see the sender’s name, account number/IBAN, amount, date and payment reference, which we keep as an accounting record (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

051-on-1 mentorship

When you book or ask about a session we process your name, phone number and WhatsApp profile (if you use WhatsApp), email address, our messages, the information you choose to share about your music, software and goals, the agreed date and time, and payment details of your bank transfer. If you pay by card through a Payhip payment link we send you, Payhip also processes your checkout data and your client-area account, and we receive your order details. Sessions take place on Zoom; Zoom processes your name, audio and video to run the call.

If you are 16 or 17, we also keep the written consent of your parent or guardian and their contact details.

We do not record sessions. You may record a session for your own study (see the Terms). Projects or files you share are used only for the session and are not published or passed on.

06Emails and messages

If you write to us by email, WhatsApp or Instagram, we use your contact details and the content of your message to reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you, or steps before a contract (Art. 6(1)(f) or (b) GDPR).

Newsletter — only if you sign up. At checkout in the Store there is an optional, unticked box to join the Freaxment mailing list. You are added to the list only if you tick it. Without it, your email address is used just to deliver your order, send your receipt and help you with it — never for newsletters. Getting a product never depends on joining.

Subscribers get occasional emails about Freaxment’s new releases, show dates, tutorials, new sample packs and presets, and mentorship. We never pass the list to anyone else for their marketing.

Payhip records whether you ticked the box. The mailing list itself is kept and the emails are sent by Kit (Kit.com, operated by ConvertKit LLC, USA), which acts as our processor: we transfer to Kit only the email addresses of customers who ticked the box, with the name you gave and the date and source of your sign-up. Kit stores your subscription and records whether an email was delivered, opened or a link in it clicked, so that we can see which emails are useful; we do not use this to build individual profiles.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 7(2) of Czech Act No. 480/2004 Sb., on certain information society services). You can withdraw it at any time, easily and free of charge: every email contains an unsubscribe link, or you can write to legal@freaxment.com. Withdrawing does not affect emails sent before, your downloads or your licence. Every newsletter is marked as a commercial communication and identifies Freaxment as the sender.

Product updates. If a product you bought gets an update — for example new or improved files — we may send you a short notice through Payhip’s email updates so that you can download the new version. This is part of providing the product (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); each notice lets you opt out of further ones.

07Who receives your data

We never sell your data. It is shared only with services needed to run the business:

• Payhip Limited (UK) — store, checkout, product delivery and card payments for mentorship made through a Payhip link;
• Calendly LLC (USA) — scheduling, if you book a session time through it;
• Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland) — card payments;
• Wise Europe SA (Belgium) and our Czech bank — receiving payments;
• Zoom Communications, Inc. (USA) — video calls;
• WhatsApp Ireland Limited — messaging, if you contact us there;
• ConvertKit LLC (Kit, USA) — the Store mailing list and newsletters;
• Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — website hosting and security;
• our email provider — email communication;
• an accountant or tax advisor, and public authorities where the law requires it.

Some of these providers are outside the EU. Transfers to the United Kingdom rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision; transfers to the USA rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

08How long we keep it

• Orders, invoices and payment records: as long as Czech tax and accounting law requires (generally up to 10 years).
• Mentorship and support conversations: up to 3 years after our last contact, to handle any claims.
• Parental consent for 16–17-year-olds: for as long as we keep the related mentorship records.
• Mailing-list email address: until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent; afterwards we keep only a record that you opted out, so that you are not emailed again.

09Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format, object to processing based on legitimate interest — including direct marketing, which we then stop immediately — and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Write to legal@freaxment.com; we reply within one month.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Czech data protection authority: Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, Pplk. Sochora 727/27, 170 00 Praha 7, uoou.gov.cz — or with the authority in your own EU country.

10Cookies

freaxment.com sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Our visitor statistics are cookieless, and there are no advertising or tracking cookies — which is why the site shows no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

freaxment.com loads no third-party scripts that set cookies. Buy and download buttons lead to the Freaxment store on store.freaxment.com, which is run by Payhip: there Payhip and Stripe set cookies that are strictly necessary for the cart, the payment, fraud prevention and bot protection; they do not require consent. The store pages are covered by Payhip’s cookie policy.

Links to SoundCloud, Spotify, Instagram and other platforms only open those services when you click them. You can always block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

11Age

The Store is intended for people aged 16 and over; younger visitors may buy or download only with a parent’s or guardian’s consent. Mentorship sessions are for adults; 16- and 17-year-olds can book only with the written consent of a parent or guardian (see the Terms).

12Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date. Significant changes affecting newsletter subscribers will also be announced by email.
